CASE STUDY — VAN ROBAEYS FRERES
13.10Z -
Un industriel du secteur 13.10Z -
Context
After several attempts with traditional products such as fire extinguishers and in a dusty environment, we were consulted to visit the site and understand the operation of the production lines and the associated risks.
Problem
- Persistent risk of fire outbreaks on machines processing plant fibers.
- Need to secure industrial electrical cabinets against recurring fires.
- Absence of a passive solution to minimize damage in the event of an electrical incident while energized.
Solution implemented
- Conducting a comprehensive on-site assessment to evaluate risks and environmental constraints.
- Analyzing requirements for electrical shutdown and alarm transmission for integration into the existing system.
- Installation of modular ReflexOFeu systems (automatic detection and suppression) tailored to electrical cabinets.
- Installation of sprinkler heads directed at zones identified as potential sources of fire outbreaks.
- Implementation of sirens/flashers for audible and visual signaling of suppression system activation.
Results
A now-secured site, the client has re-engaged us to integrate our systems into their new production lines and has entrusted us with annual maintenance.
